LAW GRADUATE

After recently graduating from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, Alysha will soon be admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia.

Alysha assists our legal team with research in employment law, industrial relations, commercial and contractual law as well as workplace safety.

Alysha works with our lawyers on matters which involve:

• termination of employment (unfair dismissal, general protections, breach of contract and defending stop-bullying applications)
• contracts of employment and workplace policies
• conducting due diligences
• work health and safety prosecutions and compliances with WorkSafe notices
• drafting health and safety policies
• workplace investigations
• award interpretation
• workplace change and restructure
• performance management

Prior to commencing at HLS Legal, Alysha gained 2 years of foundational experience as a legal assistant in private legal practice, assisting lawyers directly with drafting legal documents and progressing matters effectively between clients, counsel and the judiciary.
